Fuente never fails with their signature Cameroon wrapper! Such a beautiful leaf with great flavor. I would consider this stick as sort of a little brother to the famous Don Carlos… one of my personal favorites , but this stick has a more “everyday” price point! Flora Fina started with a subtle spice that remained pretty mild. Cinnamon notes from the Cameroon turned to baking spice in the second third. Final third leaned more into that Dominican earthy flair. Got a little tight close to the final third, so I had to use my cigar tool to loosen it up. Overall, the smoke was creamy and a pie crust note kept teasing my palate. Take your time and the burn will stay sharp, the flavor never bitter. I’ve heard some connoisseurs have rushed this one and had issues. Don’t rush a Fuente!
